Wheeler Gorge Campground

Los Padres National Forest | Ojai, CA

Are you intrigued by history? The Wheeler Gorge Campground, located near Ojai, is steeped in it, originally having been built a century ago by the Boy Scouts. On-site, a historic stone home is also present. The present-day campground is wonderful as well, lying next to Matilija Creek with sprawling mountain vistas in the Los Padres National Forest, and a popular swimming hole.
