District Lead

The District Lead is responsible for the overall supervision of the facilities, customers, and operations. They are also responsible for enforcing all rules and regulations under the prescribed operating procedures. 

The District Lead is the representative of the Operations Manager. He/she will have to take control in emergency situations, settle disputes, answer inquiries, and evaluate the performance of systems and facilities. Common sense, responsibility, dependability, maturity and visibility are keys to being an effective and efficient District Lead.

Specific Job Duties

  • See that all personnel are present and at their assigned areas when they are scheduled to work. If not, the District Lead is responsible for finding a replacement for that shift and for reporting this absence to Ops Manager.
  • In charge of purchasing and stocking facilities in conjunction with the budget.
  • Recording and reporting of accidents, injuries, and emergency situations.
  • Motivate and coordinate employees, as well as deal with any disciplinary issues that may come up under direction of Operations Manager
  • Communicate with employees effectively, and work with management to make sure the job gets done. Being able to clearly explain what needs to be done will be necessary.
  • Overseeing preparation, usage, and clean-up for special events and or holiday weekends.
  • Be able to complete tasks efficiently and without very close supervision.
  • Maintain a clean facility.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Regional Maintenance Lead 

Organizes, monitors, and supervises facility maintenance operations; performs a variety of technical tasks relative to facility maintenance; works in conjunction with the Facility Supervisor. 

  • Help plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the facility maintenance needs. 
  • Help establish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services; 
  • Identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.
  • Participate in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures; make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. 
  • Monitor and control maintenance supplies and equipment; order cleaning supplies and tools as necessary; maintain fuel needs for District, work with Project Manager to prepare specifications and contracts for contract services if required. 
  • Train or coordinate training with District Lead regarding maintenance and safety methods, procedures, and techniques. 
  • In tandem with Project Manager and District Lead, develop and organize preventative maintenance and safety inspection programs for all facilities and equipment. 
  • Help coordinate construction projects, and other special projects with Project Manager. 
  • Help coordinate with contractors in providing contract services.
  • Answer questions and provide information to the public; investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessary to resolve complaints.

Facility Lead/Lake Isabella KOA

Reports to: Operations Manager

Basic Function

The Facility Lead is responsible for the overall supervision of the facility, personnel, customers, and programs while he/she is on duty. They are also responsible for enforcing all rules and regulations established for the customers and staff members of the facility under the prescribed operating procedures. While on duty, the Facility Lead is the representative of the staff and the Company. He/she will have to take control in emergency situations, settle disputes, answer inquiries, and evaluate the job performance of other employees. Common sense, responsibility, dependability, maturity and visibility are key to being an effective and efficient Facility Supervisor.

Specific Job Duties

• Ensure that all personnel are scheduled and present at their assigned areas when they are scheduled to work. If not, the Facility Lead is              responsible for finding a replacement for that shift.
• Be able to complete tasks efficiently and without very close supervision.
• Recording and reporting of accidents, injuries, and emergency situations.
• In charge of purchasing and stocking facility in conjunction with the budget
• Overseeing preparation, usage, and clean-up for special events and or holiday weekends.
• Communicate with employees effectively, and work with management to make sure the job gets done. Being able to clearly explain what        needs to be done will be necessary.
• Motivate and coordinate employees, as well as deal with any disciplinary issues that may come up.
• Manage staff scheduling for all departments, ie. Campground, Day Use, Gatehouse, Marina, Grounds and Maintenance Staff
• Strengthen the relationship between the organization and its customers by recruiting quality staff members.
• Oversee bank deposits and accuracy of cash handling procedures for all departments.

Facility Lead for Lake Piru – Position Filled

Reports to: COO

Operations Manager – Position Filled

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Basic Function

Operations managers play a leading role in managing both raw materials and personnel. Oversight of inventory, purchasing and supplies is central to the job. Human resource tasks include determining needs, overseeing the hiring process of employees, overseeing assignment of employees and planning staff development.

Specific Job Duties

  • Supervise and coach facility personnel
  • Assist with development and approval of budgets for facilities they are overseeing
  • Control costs and keep organization on track financially.
  • Oversee day to day processing of Accounts Receivables and tracking to Accounting Department
  • Improve operational systems, policies and processes to support the organizations mission
  • Build relationships with outside resources and suppliers
  • Set goals with Facility Leads for budgeting purposes
  • Review monthly variance reports and give feedback to Management on over/under performance
  • Set goals and objectives and establish policies for various departments in the organization.
  • Monitor facility goals with quarterly reporting to management
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills to help the different parts of an organization work together.
  • Create a positive culture where the work can get done.
  • Facilitate communication between Leads and Management.
  • Help resolve disputes or disagreements.
  • Cooperate in high-level decision making with other top executives of the organization, such as the president and chief financial officer
  • Establish and implement department policies this would include consulting with staff members and the organization’s management.
  • Oversee the implementation of procedures, goals and objectives within the department.
  • Institute ways of improving the work environment and the business operations in the company.
  • Liaison with Permit Holders as needed.
  • Oversee in-house HR department, manage Corp office staff workflow in tandem with COO as needed.

Regional Supervisor – Position Filled

Reports to: Operations Manager and/or COO

Basic Function

The Regional Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the facilities, personnel, customers, and programs in his/her purview. They are also responsible for enforcing all rules and regulations established for the customers and staff members of the facility under the prescribed operating procedures. The Regional Supervisor is the representative of the staff and the Company. He/she will have to take control in emergency situations, settle disputes, answer inquiries, and evaluate the job performance of other employees. Common sense, responsibility, dependability, maturity and visibility are keys to being an effective and efficient Facility Supervisor.

Specific Job Duties

  • See that all personnel are properly trained for their assigned areas.
  • Be able to complete tasks efficiently and without very close supervision
  • Recording and reporting of accidents, injuries, and emergency situations when called upon to do so.
  • Will work with Operations Manager and COO to learn processes and procedures involved with Regional operations.
  • Provide Regional reports to Operations Manager to include all plans regarding logistics, and financial performance of Facilities within their purview.
  • In charge of supplying facility needs as requested and in conjunction with the budget
  • Overseeing preparation, usage, and clean-up for special events and or holiday weekends.
  • Communicate with employees effectively, and work with management to make sure the job gets done. Being able to clearly explain what needs to be done will be necessary.
  • Motivate and coordinate employees, as well as deal with any disciplinary issues that may come up.
  • Oversee staff scheduling for all Districts as needed.
  • Strengthen the relationship between the organization and its customers by overseeing the recruitment of quality staff members.
  • Track customer satisfaction goals.
  • Prepare performance evaluations of assigned staff. Establish performance parameters and gauge employees’ personal targets. As part of the evaluation, you should monitor staff’s performance and coach them for any improvements. The task of addressing performance deficiencies falls squarely on your shoulders. With the concurrence of management, the Operations Manager can institute disciplinary proceedings against a staff member leading to his termination. You need to carry out these proceedings in accordance with the provisions of the company’s human resource policies.
  • Send reports to Operations Manager as per company policy, these may include inspection reports, cleaning reports, inventory reports, etc.
  • Ensure that sales reports are submitted weekly to bookkeeping.
  • Track and assign expenses to budget items using expense cost codes when necessary.
