Los Padres National Forest | Ojai, CA

Dreaming of creekside camping? It’s all yours at Reyes Creek Campground, a hideaway near Maricopa with dipping holes, a trout-stocked fishing stream and a spot to hang your hammock and dream away. Cottonwood and oak trees give shade to your camp site, and the Reyes Creek runs right alongside your tent or RV. If you can bring yourself to leave this paradise, located near the Sespe Wilderness, adventure awaits, with hiking, mountain biking, swimming, hunting and even recreational mining. Back at camp, keep your eye on the sky for red-tailed hawks and maybe a California condor.

Highlights

• 26 spacious tent and RV sites (no hookups)
• Picnic tables, campfire rings, grills, vault toilets
• Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming
• Food, gas and gear are available in Frazier Park
