Or, you could simply grab your binoculars and watch for birds all day long, as Stellar jays, king-fishers, warblers and many others flock to this area of the Los Padres National Forest. For day trips, Los Olives, Santa Ynez, Solvang, and Buelton are within an hour’s drive.
