Make it a party with up to 50 of your closest friends or family members at Holiday Group Campground. Tent camping is the only kind of camping at this spacious site, which is part of Wheeler Gorge. Plenty of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding are accessed from the campground, and the 10-mile Ortega Trail offers excellent terrain for off-roading vehicles (OHV). Ojai is only 15 miles away, and Ventura is 20 miles, close to the Pacific Ocean, but if you prefer to nest in nature, take a dip in a nearby swimming hole, drop a fishing line in the creek that runs nearby, or just relax and soak in the beauty of the Los Padres National Forest.
