Rev up your engines for some of the best off-roading (OHV) trails in the Los Padres National Forest. Between Ballinger Canyon and the adjacent Deer Park Canyon, Ballinger Day Use-Off Road Vehicle Area offers a sprawling OHV riding area adventure, with some 70 miles of designated ATV, 4X4 and motorcycle routes. The mountain views are pretty spectacular, too.
