When you need to cool off this summer, make your way to Arroyo Seco Recreation Area. Grab a spot by the Arroyo Seco River and cook up some BBQ for friends and family. The Arroyo Seco Recreation Area is nestled under oak trees, with views of the Ventana Wilderness mountains and lakes.  Your close to “The Gorge,” where the river runs through a deep canyon, offering excellent opportunities for hiking, swimming and other adventures.  A trailhead accesses the 15.5-mile Santa Lucia Trail as well as shorter multiday hikes.
