Sand Dollar Beach is the largest cresecent of Sandy Beach in the Big Sur Area set below dramatic Pacific Valley Cliffs. It is located directly across the street from Plaskett Creek Campground and 5 miles south of Kirk Creek Campground. Sand Dollar Beach offers both a great beach and a nice bluff trail with expansive views up and down the coast. The Day Use Area has picnic tables, and BBQ's and is a perfect place to stop and enjoy your day. A great place to watch whales and dolphins as they move up and down the coast. A popular surf and handgliding location.

There is no drinking water available at Sand Dollar Beach. Dogs are permitted, please keep on leash and pick up after them.
