Sage Hill Group Campground

Los Padres National Forest | Santa Barbara, CA

Saddle up and head for Sage Hill Campground, where 12 corrals and a hitching post are part of a campsite designed for group equestrian camping, where the trail starts at the campground, and time spent in the Wild West brings us closer together. If you don’t have a horse, no worries. The Santa Ynez River is great for swimming, fishing, and skipping stones. There are great hiking and mountain biking trails and nearby off-roading routes too.

Highlights

• 5 single-family and equestrian sites for tent and RV camping (no hookups)
• Picnic area, grills, drinking water, vault toilets
• Hiking and horseback riding trails
• Horse corrals and a hitching post

Please Note: There’s a river crossing during the rainy season. Heavy rain may result in short-term closures.
