Kirk Creek Big Sur

Update 10/14/17: Kirk Creek Campground is open and Highway 1 is NOW OPEN from the North.  Vehicles can access Kirk Creek Campground from the North using Highway 1.  A closure is still in place on Highway from the south and accessible by vehicle from Nacimiento/Ferguson Road.  Please use a map to check your route before traveling.  Sand Dollar Beach, Willow Day Use and Mill Day Use Areas are open and accessible as well.

Each of Kirk Creek’s 34 sites has a view of the Pacific Ocean and the magnificent Big Sur coast. There is one short trail leading from the campground to the beach. Kirk Creek is a popular spot for surfing and ocean fishing.

 

 

 

Across Hwy. 1 is Kirk Creek trailhead leading into the Ventana Wilderness.

 

 

 

 

Kirk Creek campsites are available for reservations. You can make reservations on line at recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777.

Fee: $35.00 per night
6-8 persons per site

Walk In Fee: $5.00

2 vehicles per site

RVs permitted

No Water is available at Kirk Creek. So please bring your own.
