Update 10/14/17: Limekiln Park is open and Highway 1 is NOW OPEN from the North. Vehicles can access Limekiln State Park from the North using Highway 1. A closure is still in place on Highway from the south and accessible by vehicle from Nacimiento/Ferguson Road. Please use a map to check your route before traveling.
Limekiln State Park features breathtaking views of the Big Sur Coast, the beauty of the redwoods, the rugged coast and the cultural history of limekilns. When choosing a site, please be aware that each site can only accommodate 1 or 2 vehicles. There is no additional parking within Limekiln State Park. Extra Vehicles must park outside of the facility.
Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table.

The park is 56 miles south of Carmel, on Highway One; two miles south of Lucia.
The weather can be changeable. Layered clothing is advised.
